123 driving lessons - simple terms & conditions

Your 1st lesson requires a physical licence check, so please bring your provisional (or European) driving licence. And an eyesight test (reading a number plate from a distance of 20 Metres). 

If you require spectacles, please remember to bring them to each lesson. If it is sunny, please bring a pair of sunglasses :-)

If I'm unable to keep your appointment due to severe weather, mechanical breakdown, illness, road closures, or short-notice driving tests for other students, I may need to reschedule your driving lesson. I'll do my best to let you know as soon as possible if this happens.

Please let me know before booking your practical driving test so that I can confirm you are test-ready. Use of the driving school vehicle for the test will be refused if I consider that you are not ready for your driving test. Please note that I will require a minimum of 24 hours ' notice before your test day.

I reserve the right to conduct online licence checks for insurance purposes. You may need to submit your driving licence number, National Insurance number, and postcode (as shown on your driving licence if requested at www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

If you have, or receive any penalty points or driving convictions, you must notify me before your next lesson for insurance purposes.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation charges will apply for short-notice cancellations if I am unable to fill the slot with another student, as follows. (I will consider exceptional circumstances at my discretion.)

Short-notice cancellation is less than 48 hours' notice before the lesson starts. You'll be charged half of the full lesson price, or the amount will be deducted from your prepaid balance.

Rearrangement Lessons For Other Student Practical Tests

If a short-notice test for another student clashes with your lesson, I'll reschedule yours, and I'll do the same if your test conflicts with theirs.
